TITANIC: THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the RMS Titanic and experience its tragic voyage from beginning to end at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Over the past 15 years, more than 25 million people have seen this powerful exhibition in major museums worldwide - from Chicago to Los Angeles and Paris to London, and now Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is coming to the Fort Worth-Dallas area.
Opening October 13, 2012, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History will pay tribute to the tragedy which continues to resonate 100 years later through Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Visitors can purchase tickets beginning August 1 to tour recreated rooms of the Titanic and learn about the modern-day recovery and restoration efforts.
The Exhibition has been designed with a focus on the legendary RMS Titanic’s compelling human stories as best told through extensive room re-creations including a 1st class cabin and 3rd class cabin and hallway as well as 250 authentic artifacts including:
- Perfume from a maker who was traveling to New York to sell his samples
- China etched with the logo of the elite White Star Line
- Personal items thought lost forever including jewelry and clothing
