Brice Beaird's new CD Now Appearing was released at a concert at Lakewood Theatre this past December, which also featured the fabulous band Beatlegras, benefitting Mental Health America’s Operation Healthy Reunions.
In this February 4 performance at Poor David’s Pub, Beaird is joined by the Big Sound Band: Milo Deering, Jamey Perrenot, Roland Elbert, Carlyle McCoullough, Bob Gentry and John Landefeld. They will perform selections from the new CD, which features 13 new original songs, including the very thoughtful, “He's My Son,” to the funny and whimsical, “I've Got No Friends in My Space.” The new album also features, “When Will it End,” a song Brice wrote to promote Mental Health America's Operation Healthy Reunions and “The Old Rock Church,” helping to raise awareness for the Elizabeth Toon Foundation.
A well-known local singer whose voice is smooth as silk with a James Taylor-esque edge, Beaird is a regular performer at local venues such as Poor David's Pub and has appeared at Border’s Books and Opening Bell Coffee on Lamar.
