BAMA BOOT SCOOT
Family and sports fans will gather at Gilley’s to celebrate the life of Dallas-native Ashley Harrison - the 2007 Ursuline Academy of Dallas graduate who was killed by the massive tornado that devastated Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on April 27, 2011.
It also marks the beginning of football season: It's the night before Harrison’s beloved Crimson Tide kicks off against Michigan at Cowboys Stadium.
All ‘Bama Boot Scoot proceeds will go toward the Ashley Harrison Memorial Scholarship at The University of Alabama, which is annually awarded to a North Texas high school senior who will be enrolling at the university.
The benefit will feature a musical performance from The Ray Johnston Band, a raffle, plus live and silent auctions.
Tickets are available for $15 pre-purchase.
