SHAY GEYER, IBB DESIGNER/MARKETING DIRECTOR

Shay Geyer has been a professional interior designer since 2001. Her mother, Beth Rafferty, founded IBB when she was just a toddler so she was exposed to the world of design at a very early age. Her work has been published in several magazines including her monthly editorial features in ON Magazine & GrandLuxe Magazine. Her passion for home furnishings and creativity as well as her outgoing personality has landed her many celebrity clients as well as projects that span the country. Her projects range in style from modern lofts & high rises to French opulent estates. She has a flair for infusing color, texture & patterns into a room to give it a distinct look but insists that her design style is "whatever the client’s taste & lifestyle dictates." Shay’s unique style & ability to forecast design trends landed her the position of design expert for Good Morning Texas. She has been a part of the show since 2006. She is a buyer for IBB Design Fine Furnishings & attends markets all over the country to select unique home furnishings & accessories to offer IBB’s clients. She is currently designing an exclusive collection of upholstery and soft good furnishings for IBB.

Shay is married to wonderful man named Brian & has 2 daughters; Jaylie (7) & Brooklyn (10 months). They have a lovable Boxer named Roxy. Family, church & giving back to the community are high on her priority list. She is involved in several charitable organizations including Family Gateway, The Junior League of Dallas, Genesis Women’s Shelter, The Family Place (Board Member), Junior Associates of the Dallas Museum of Art, The Elan Circle of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and is a founding member of STAR Children’s Charities.
