SHARON MOORE, PRESIDENT AND CEO CITY CREDIT UNION

As President and CEO of City Credit Union, Sharon Moore leads over 100 Associates in "Making the Difference" for Members every day. Moore states, "City Credit Union truly believes in Making the Difference One Member at a Time. This isn't just a tag line for us, it resonates throughout the entire organization as our daily focus".

Moore began her career in the Credit Union industry in 1982. As a Finance major at Southwest Texas State University - now known as Texas State University - Moore learned about credit unions in a Money and Banking class and immediately identified with the credit union philosophy and knew that was the career path she wanted to pursue.After earning her Bachelors of Business Administration, Moore began her career as a Credit Union Examiner. After running a successful credit union consulting company for 13 years, Moore joined City Credit Union as Senior Vice President in 2004, and was named President/CEO in 2006.
