Who's got the best java around? A coffee taste test

This year, five North Texas coffee shows were nominated for the KRUPS Best Brew Awards 2014.

Several of the nominated shops stopped by GMT on Monday to give us a taste of what made there brands award nomination worthy. Avoca Coffee Roasters, Oddfellows, and White Rock Coffee each brewed up their best blends.

The award was created to help discover the best coffee houses in the country. Last year, White Rock Coffee brought in the award.

During an unofficial, blind taste test, GMT hosts selected the coffee from White Rock Coffee, but they all said the others had coffee worthy drinking any day.

Crooked Tree Coffeehouse and Cultivar Coffee & Tea Co. were also nominated, but could not join us for the tasting.
