Check back with us each Thursday for a new inspiring piece of content here and on the WFAA app. Have a story idea? Share it with us!  LaVida@wfaa.com

Meet Rodney Garza of the one man show "El Chuco Loves La Che." It's a bi-cultural and bilingual monologue with a message the actor says should resonate with Mexican-Americans. You can hear and see more from Rodney Garza in Cara Mia Theatre's production of "Crystal City 1969".  The show opens September 24 and runs through October 16.

Meet Dallas-nativeNello Moa. This Mexican-American is changing the image of librarians.

He's a bookworm by day and a rockstar by night.
