Aledo community rallies around burn victim's family

The Aledo community rallied around the family of Cameron Hudson, who was severely burned last November.

Impact Athletic Training Center and Crossfit Cityview turned a grand opening into a fundraiser to raise money for a burn victim's medical bills.

Cameron Hudson suffered severe burns over 90 percent of his body last November.

"I'm speechless on the community coming together the way that they have," said Melissa Cannon, Cameron's mother. "The love for Cameron and our family has been unbelievable."

Hudson is expected to be in the hospital for 12-18 months, and will need therapy after his hospital stay.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Cameron with over $34,000 raised so far. More information about Cameron and his family's battle can be found on this website.
