Amy Kushnir of My Texas Today is joined by WFAA anchor Shon Gables, who shows us how to make three great-tasting (and healthy!) smoothies.


Hazelnut Surprise

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 frozen banana (cut in slices)
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1/4 green apple
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Hazelnut milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend together in NutriBullet or another electric blender

The Big Mean Green

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 lemon (juice only)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1 slice fresh pineapple (approx 1/2” thick)
  • fill with water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend together in NutriBullet or another electric blender

P. B. & J.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 scoops low carb peanut butter (such as PB2)
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana (cut in slices)
  • 1 cup cocnut milk
  • 1/2 lemon (juice only)
  • 1/2 apple

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend together in NutriBullet or another electric blender
