DALLAS - Bishop T.D. Jakes stopped by the Good Morning Texas studio on Tuesday to talk about MegaFest 2013.

The festival is touted as the nation's largest inspirational family festival. It is expected that more than 50,000 people will come to Dallas for the three day event.

Bishop Jakes is the senior and founder pastor at The Potter's House located in the Dallas area. He says this is the first time the event has been held in the city, but it won't be the last.

"It's not just the services, it's not just the comedy shows and concerts, it's also family interactive, having fun," said Bishop Jakes when asked what he hopes everyone gets out of MegaFest.

For the first time a film festival is on the schedule at MegaFest. Academy award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson will answer questions after the viewing of her new movie "Winnie Mandela". A movie version of Langston Hughes' famous play "Black Nativity" will hit the screens during the festival.

MegaFest is being held in Dallas, August 29-31. Head to the MegaFest website for more information.
