An account for Jace Eason has been established.

Four-year-old Jace is recovering at Children's Medical Center Dallas from broken bones and an injury to his spine. Mesquite school officials say he is expected to recover and will likely go to live with his grandparents.

Jace's parents, James and Leah Eason, and his infant brother died when their SUV ran in to the back of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 30 north of Cookville on Saturday afternoon.

The account is set up at First State Bank in Mesquite. If you would like to contribute, you can send a check to the bank at:

First State Bank
P.O. Box 850438
Mesquite, TX 75185

The checks need to be made out to: Vickie Compton FBO Jace Eason (FBO is "for benefit of").
