The List: Fun events in North Texas this weekend

Spring is here, and the weather will be nice for a fun-filled weekend complete with plenty of family events! Take a look at our list of what's happening around town:

Deep Ellum Arts Festival

  • Friday-Sunday in Deep Ellum (Dallas)
  • Free
  • Voted "Best Festival in Dallas" 

Breakfast with the Bunny

  • Saturday at Evans Recreation Center in Mesquite
  • $5 per person; kids 2 and under are free
  • Panera Bread sponsoring breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. for children 9 and under.

Junior League of Fort Worth's 4th annual Pancake Picnic

  • Saturday in Fort Worth at Cook Children's Medical Center
  • 9 a.m. to noon
  • Theme: Pancake in Your PJs

City of Irving's Easter Egg Hunt

  • Saturday at Heritage Park in Irving
  • 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Easter on the Bridge

  • Saturday on the Ron Kirk Bridge in Dallas
  • Free, starts at 1 p.m.

Love Field Airport's Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival

  • Free event on Saturday
  • 1-3 p.m. at Dallas Executive Airport
  • Egg hunt will start at 2:30 p.m. with eggs being dropped from a Dallas Police Department helicopter!
