This week on Good Morning Texas (March 20 - 24)

Monday, March 20: It’s frosting on the cupcake as GMT gets icing tips from actress and baker Elizabeth Chambers, who founded Bird Bakery in Highland Park Village with her husband, actor Armie Hammer. We find out how their careers are going and learn about the latest addition to their family – baby #2! Then we talk to bubbly twins Emily and Haley Ferguson… “The Bachelor” twins who now star in their own reality show in Las Vegas.   Plus we’re live from Head Case Hair Studio to check out their shampoo and coloring treatments that are organic and environmentally friendly.. no harsh chemicals! Seafood from Seabreeze Fish Market is here cooking up shrimp scampi.Plus a special ballroom tribute to the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars.” Monday at 9 a.m. on GMT.

Tuesday, March 21: Author Brian Cuban stops by GMT to talk about his new book, “The Addicted Lawyer: Tales of The Bar, Booze, Blow and Redemption.” He reveals his difficult climb out from the dark hole of addiction and shares a bit about his “Shark Tank” brother, Mark Cuban, too. Plus MTV teams up with the Dallas Contemporary with a tribute to the late pop legend, George Michael. GMT is the first to give you an exclusive sneak peek into this exhibit and show. Then we test out new beauty technology from Neiman Marcus. The Memory Mirror is a digital reflection that remembers you and guides you to the perfect makeup experience! Plus we get a taste of this year’s Fort Worth Food and Wine Festival with a barbecue feast outside! Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Wednesday, March 22: Legendary “Dallas” stars Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray drop by to dish about that iconic ‘80s TV show about the Big D that made them famous. It’s a restrospective that pays tribute to the late Larry Hagman, and it’s  presented by J.R. Ewing Bourbon and the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Plus, we’re live from the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in in Euless where dogs are invited to dine! Plus join the Texas Music Revolution! The Vandoliers perform on the GMT stage and preview the Plano festival. Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Thursday, March 23: We catch up with Noel Stookey, best known as “Paul” of the ‘60s folk group, Peter Paul and Mary. He’s in town for the 40th anniversary of Dallas’ much-loved listening room, Poor David’s Pub. Plus GMT gets a glimpse of glam from designer Johnson Hartig, whose brand Libertine has a cult-like following among celebrities from Anna Wintour to Mick Jagger and Taylor Swift. Then we check out authentic planes from WWII at the new Wings of Freedom Tour at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Plus Alanna Sarabia gets a behind-the-scenes tour of the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s real Mummies of the World exhibit! That’s Thursday at 9 a.m.

Friday, March 24: Paige McCoy Smith gets a rare opportunity to sit down with acclaimed Texas author Larry McMurtry, at his bookstore in Archer City. The author, best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, Lonesome Dove, shares his love for books with GMT. Plus he’s out with a new book in September. Boho fashion is big this Spring. Champagne Thursday shows off their bohemian line. Jane McGarry tries playing the accordian with a champion from The Big Squeeze competition. GMT checks out the hot new vehicles at the DFW Auto Show. Plus What’s on Parker’s Plate is here. Culinary guru Parker Wallace offers up alternatives to forbidden foods during Lent. Friday at 9 a.m. on GMT.
