This Week on GMT (April 10 - April 14)

Monday, April 10: GMT shows you how to cook up the perfect ham dish for Easter. Then Galleria Dallas has Easter basket ideas for all ages. You don’t want to miss the dynamic cast of the musical “Shrek” when they perform on the GMT stage. Plus there is an Easter Pooch Parade on the plaza. Author Melissa Lenhardt drops by to tell us about her new book “Sawbones,” and we’re live from a new Images of the West Exhibit at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Monday at 9 a.m.

 

Tuesday, April 11: Deborah Norville joins us live to talk about her new show, “Exposed with Deborah Norville.” She takes viewers deep into the twists and turns of some of Hollywood’s most shocking stories. Then it’s all about the dumplings. GMT is live from the Dumpling Bar. Plus our crafting diva shows you how to make a cute fuzzy bunny wreath, miniature bunnies and eggs in a nest shadow boxes. Local author Harry Hunsicker tells us about his riveting new book, “The Devil’s Country,” which features West Texas. GMT takes you on a tour of Houston’s Avenida to check out all of the family fun. Tuesday at 9 a.m.

 

Wednesday, April 12: GMT is live from the Casa Manana Theater for a special production of “The Little Mermaid.” Get amped up with the best exercise and running shoes, including ones that light up for night-time exercise. Plus gather the family for fun faith based Easter events and activities. Wednesday at 9 a.m.

 

Thursday, April 13: GMT’s best of show with Jane McGarry’s exclusive interview with football legend and announcer, Troy Aikman. Aikman opens up about his family and his love of football. Then actress Mackenzie Phillips tells us about a new chapter in her life and a new book, that’s helping drug addicts. Sandra Lee of the Food Network has tips every aspiring entrepreneur should hear. Plus Jane goes one on one with “Dancing with the Stars” and PBR competitor Bonner Bolton, while Alanna Sarabia has fun with Terry Fator and Winston. Thursday at 9 a.m.  

 

Friday, April 14: We’re live from Chick Scratch, a unique dining spot with a patio shelter made from old train shipping containers. Bunnies and guinea pigs fill the studio as we talk to the owners of a small pet rescue. Then our crafting diva has different ways to color those eggs.. from glitter eggs, to the new candy apple shine technique, tattoos and nail polish eggs. NorthPark Center shows you beautiful floral fashions for Easter. Get hoppin’ to GMT ..Friday at 9 a.m.
