Prepare your brain to talk really fast in 3, 2, 1.
Luke's Diner, from the popular television show "Gilmore Girls" is set to be moved from its home in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut to over 200 locations throughout the United States on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
That includes five coffee shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth area:
- Method Coffee in Dallas
- Coffee House Café in Dallas
- Buon Giorno in Fort Worth
- iJava & Chai in Plano
- Savor Coffee Bar & Eatery in Arlington
At the one-day only event, patrons will feel just like Rory and Lorelai as they're treated to free cups of coffee courtesy of Netflix.
Oct. 5 is the 16th anniversary of Gilmore Girls and Netflix is set to air the premiere episode of the revamped series "Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life" on Nov. 25.
The faux Luke's Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to noon. The Austin Eater reports diner workers are expected to be dressed in Luke's Diner aprons and t-shirts,
There's also the possibility that baristas will wear blue baseball caps and flannel. However, that's solely up to them.
