DFW spring festival guide

Holi Festival (Festival of Colors) comes to Southfork Ranch this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15. The festival welcomes spring and signifies the triumph of good over evil. It's been celebrated for thousands of years, with large celebrations in India and Nepal.

Spring has sprung in North Texas, and it's time for our favorite festivals! Check out our list to make sure you don't miss a good time in your community:

Through April 9 at the Dallas Arboretum. Tickets are $8-$15.

March 24-26 at AirHogs Stadium in Grand Prairie. Tickets are $60-$149.

VINO-Palooza Wine & Music Festival

April 8 at Shipping & Receiving in Fort Worth. Tickets are $65.

April 9 at Happiest Hour in Dallas. Tickets are $65-$100.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival

April 8-May 29 in Waxahachie.

Big Mamou Cajun Festival

April 8-9 at Traders Village in Grand Prairie. Admission is free.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival

April 20-23 throughout downtown Fort Worth. Admission is free.

Grand Prairie Main Street Fest

April 21-23 along West Main Street in Grand Prairie. Admission is free.

Earth Day Texas

April 21-23 at Fair Park in Dallas.

Something Wonderful

April 22-23 at Texas Motor Speedway. Tickets are $119.95-$179.95.

Japanese Garden Spring Festival

April 22-23 at Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Admission is $4-$8.

Art in the Square

April 28-30 at Southlake Town Square. Admission is free.

Denton Arts & Jazz Festival

April 28-30 at Quakertown Park in Denton. Admission is free.

Arbor Daze

April 29 at Euless Family Life Center in Euless. Admission is free.



May 4-7 at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. Tickets are $5-$8.

Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games

May 5-7 at Maverick Stadium at the University of Texas at Arlington. Tickets are $12-$25. Children's tickets are $5-$8.

Homegrown Music & Arts Festival

May 13 at Main Street Garden Park in Dallas. Tickets are $50.

Grapevine Main Street Fest

May 19-21 in downtown Grapevine. 

Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival

May 19-21 at Galatyn Park in Richardson.

DFW Dragon Boat, Kite and Lantern Festival

May 21 at Lake Carolyn in Irving. Admission is free.

National Polka Festival

May 26-28 in downtown Ennis. Admission to halls is $9-$13. Other events are free.
