New video of the area near the crash that killed actor Paul Walker on Saturday is shedding some light on the moments after impact.
The surveillance camera video does not show the crash itself, which is shielded by a tall hedge.
Two small trees, however, are seen being toppled by the impact.
Then -- more than one minute later, according to the time code on the recording, black smoke begins to rise from the crash site where Walker and friend Roger Rodas were killed.
The video suggests that the men had a minute after impact but before the fire began.
Preliminary findings of the autopsies on their remains could be made public on Tuesday. The examination of dental X-rays should also confirm whether Rodas was behind the wheel and Walker was in the passenger seat.
