FORT WORTH - How would you like to take a trip back in time to one of the most significant events of the 20th century? A new exhibit featuring more than two-hundred artifacts recovered from the sinking of the Titanic opens this weekend in Fort Worth.

It also features extensive re-creations, all aimed at telling the stories of passengers and crew members aboard the ill-fated vessel.

"In our opinion, these artifacts are remarkable, but what we use them for is to tell the stories of the passengers and crew members,” said Theresa Nelson, with RMS Titanic, Inc. “Because those are the stories that really are the most important to tell, and we want to make sure that their legacy continues for future generations."

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opens Saturday, October 13th at Fort Worth's Museum of Science and History and runs through March 24th.
