One of the nation’s most-recognized entertainers is coming back to North Texas for a good cause.

Steve Harvey, host of The Steve Harvey Show and Family Feud, will be in D/FW this weekend hosting the sixth annual Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men National Camp.

This year’s event will bring together 100 teenage boys without fathers and a diverse group of mentors in fields such as sports, business, and science.

Mentors include former NFL player and Dancing with the Stars champion Donald Driver, renowned educator Dr. Steve Perry of Capital Prep, MFL palyer and Dallas native Russell Okung, President and CEO of Masterbuilt John McLemore, Senior Vice President of Production at the Screen Gems film studio James Lopez, and others.

The camp is billed as “a powerful interactive mentoring experience,” and aims to introduce boys ages 13-18 to strong male role models who can teach them the principles of manhood and leadership.
