NEWARK, New Jersey — Dallas Pastor T.D. Jakes was one of the speakers at Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday.
He produced the singer's final movie — "Sparkle" — and had a special message for her family.
"You paid a temendous price in life," Jakes said. "You shared her with the world, and we want to take a moment and say, 'Thank you.'"
Jakes said Houston's family knew who she was — not just what she did.
"Sparkle" is due to be released in August.
