DALLAS — Comic book legend, creator, and writer Stan Lee turned heads and earned applause Saturday at Dallas Comic Con.
Channel 8 viewers tweeted pictures from the event all day. Meanwhile, the man behind Marvel characters like Thor, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four delighted fans in person.
Stan Lee said if he could have his own super power, it would be one he's never given to a character.
"You can show Superman lifting up a car, or flying over a city," he said. "What do you show if a guy is lucky? Look at me — I'm lucky. It's not an interesting picture. So that's why I've never written a superhero who has good luck. But to me, that's the greatest power."
Lee is just one of many big names in Dallas this weekend. Star Trek's William Shatner will join the party at the downtown Dallas Convention Center on Sunday.
