This week’s Wednesday's Child loves to bounce around and have a good time.
Damian is a sweet and smart little boy who needs a family that will help him with his medical needs and give him a lot of love.
The precious six-year-old boy has been in foster care since he was born.
Danny Nail and his wife have been Damian's foster parents since he was a baby.
"He has a sweet spirit," said Nail. "Very loving in his extent of loving."
This soon-to-be seven-year-old has been diagnosed with autism. Nail said Damian spent the first ten months of his life in the hospital because he was born with his intestines outside his stomach.
"His lower intestine doesn't work the way it should, and so he's being treated for that. Right now he receives all of his nutrition through a central line," Nail said.
Although Damian does not speak many words, it is easy to understand him, especially when he holds out his arms for you.
"He does that because he has picked you up as someone he can trust, because he doesn't do it to everyone," Nail said.
Damian is very smart, especially when it comes to his iPad. It was a gift from the Make a Wish foundation. Damian does not leave home without it.
"He'll even use his iPad as a movie theater," Nail said. "He'll set it up, put the show on and bring all the stuffed animals in and line them up so that they're watching the iPad"
His love for technology and his skills on the iPad are just part of Damian's awesome personality.
He loves to be spun, he enjoys dancing and he can even speak Spanish!
"Cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez" recites the six-year-old with a big smile on his face.
Nail said shows like Dora the Explorer are helping Damian to become bilingual.
The family that adopts Damian will have to be prepared to deal with his medical conditions on a daily basis. He is currently in the process of learning how to eat, since he has never put a piece of food in his mouth.
Nail said there is only one thing Damian really needs.
"That is all they ask for, is just love me."
