"All I want is a family that will treat me right, and a family that will believe me no matter what I do," said the teenager while he and Cynthia played video games at Celebration Station in Mesquite.
Marcus will try anything new. Whether it's playing the guitar or playing skee ball!
"I love games, drawing and going to school." Marcus is excited about going into the 9th grade. He is in special education classes and needs a family who will advocate for him in school. Marcus says he knows what love is.
"Love means you care about someone very much," said the 15 year-old.
Marcus is a neat kid! He wants a family who is going to nurture and love him as he grows up. He enjoys learning knew things, including lessons on furniture. During the interview he inquired about the Lazy Susan table where he and Cynthia had the interview. Marcus was excited to learn you could pass food to someone on the other side of the large table without standing up!
Marcus is a very sweet spirited child. He has lived most of his life moving from home to home and wants stability.
"I feel scared sometimes because you don't know which one is going to be your family next."
Right now, Marcus says his friends are his family.
"I love my friends. I want my friends to have a good life."
A good life is what Marcus dreams about.
"I just want God to give me a new family," says Marcus with a hopeful attitude.
Marcus would benefit from a strong male figure and parents who believe in him. With the right direction, this kid will fly and bring a lot of joy into a home.
"I just hope they find me a good family. That's all I want."
