FORT WORTH -- This week’s Wednesday's Child has enough energy to power a city. He is a lovable 10-year-old who is really smart. That is why his adventure to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History was the perfect field trip.

Raymond was so excited about the outing, he could hardly contain himself.

Whether it was cup building or getting caught in the middle of a tornado, there was plenty to learn and experience.

"My favorite is science because I love the planets."

Checking out space rocks at the Planetarium was a lot of fun, but Raymond also enjoys eating. He hopes his parents will enjoy food as much as he does.

"I like macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, chili, salsa, Mexican food, Chinese Food and Japanese food!"

While Raymond could easily be a scientist in the future, he also displays the signs of a good architect as he loves to design and build.

"I like playing with my legos. I build towers, sky scrapers and cities like New York."

While Raymond appears quite outgoing on camera, his case workers say he can actually be shy at times.

He strongly desires a family complete with siblings and pets.

"I want to be treated nice."

He says he will treat his new family with respect. Raymond is full of life and very inquisitive and not just about science either!

In fact, News 8’s Cynthia Izaguirre's long eyelashes caught his attention. She explained they were "fake eyelashes."

"Where are your real ones?" he asked.

"Underneath the fake ones," explained Izaguirre.

Raymond needs parents who will provide structure, stability and a lot of patience.

In return, he will shower you with love.

"That's molecules," Raymond explained. "This is the atom. It's the smallest anything that can happen. And then these are atomic atoms which are smaller than these."

At school, he excels and is very curious about most subjects. But he has his favorite.
