GARLAND — News 8 is proud to partner with Rachel's Challenge, an organization aimed at changing children's lives — one good deed at a time.
We found a good example of that this weekend in Garland, where the Rachel's Challenge Club at Naaman Forest High School takes children from Jonathan's Place on outings to show them a good time.
On Saturday, they went to the Shops at Eastside in Richardson, where they enjoyed free food, facepainting and dancing.
Jonathan's Place is a shelter for abused and neglected children.
