FORT WORTH - Three years ago, 13-year-old Emily Lites was inspired by Rachel's Challenge and her little brother to begin Emily's Smile Boxes.
Lites and her friends gathered for her birthday party this week to fill boxes with toys, games and stickers for patients at children's hospitals.
So far, more than 4,000 Emily's Smile Boxes have been shipped.
