Run the Square 5K for PKD
Saturday September 22nd
Grab your family, friends, coworkers, teammates or some hobby buddies and join News 8’s Teresa Woodard to support children and families fighting kidney disease.
It’s your chance to make a difference and let your feet do the talking!
7:30 am – 10:30 am It’s fun time—interact with Star Wars characters, face painters, Disney princesses, arts and crafts, electronic games truck, live entertainment and more!
8 am – 10 am Bring your appetite and enjoy a free pancake Breakfast provided by Colleyville Lion’s Club. Donations are welcomed and go to help the cause.
Careful not to over stuff yourself race times are:
8:30 am -- Run the Square 5K (Registration fees are noted below)
9:00 am -– Medical City Children’s Walk (free to participate, any donations will aid the effort)
9:30 am -- 1 Mile Walk for PKD (free to participate, any donations will aid the effort)
Not just for runners and walkers (free to participate):
8:45 am – Balloon Release in memory of Jace Glenn and other brave kidney disease fighters led by Captain from the Texas Rangers
8:50 am – Warm-Up with fitness instructor Judy Cassidy
9:30 am – Awards Ceremony for Run the Square 5K Runners (adult and youth categories)
10:00am – Awards Ceremony for PKD Walkers
