DALLAS — North Texans looking for a good deal found it Saturday at the Dallas Zoo.
WFAA's Family First invited viewers to come celebrate Elephant Appreciation Day, and admission was half-price.
Craig Civale, Joe Trahan and other News 8 personalities chatted with visitors. Children got autographs at the Family First booth and had the chance to go on a special tour of the elephant barns.
Elephant Appreciation day is celebrated by zoos across the country.
