There's more than one reason to cheer for the Mavericks tonight, and it starts before the game even begins.

A group of US Navy SEALs will be at the WFAA Victory Park studio to meet fans and let them know how they can participate in the "Carry the Load" project.

"Carry the Load" is a Memorial Day event  that honors and raises money for members of the military, local police and fire departments and their families.

Firner SEALs Bruce Former and Stephen Holly talk with News 8 Daybreak's Ron Corning about the event.
