Telephone Sales Associates - Bank of America

Tuesday, November 24, 2009:

Bank of America is a large financial institution with 5,800 retail banking offices.

The company is hiring Part-Time Telephone Sales Associates in Addison.

This is an entry-level position that receives and/or places telephone calls which are basic and routine.

Workers use a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.

May answer inquiries, resolve problems, promote and sell products/services and/or enter or confirm sales.

Requires basic knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services.

May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.

Usually requires the ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.


Required skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Effective persuasion skills

Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high-volume environment

Self-motivated and results-oriented


Desired skills:

Sales experience highly recommended

Previous customer contact experience

Knowledge of the marketing field

Bilingual (English and Spanish)


Work Schedule:

Mon-Thurs 5pm-10pm, required to work 2 Fridays and Saturdays per month from 9am to 1pm
