Planned Giving Director - Susan G. Komen

Friday, January 8, 2010:

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.

The organization is looking for a Planned Giving Director in Dallas.

The position is responsible for developing a comprehensive planned giving program to attract deferred gifts, and overseeing all activities and stewardship of donors and their professional advisers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least 10 years experience in donor development and in organizing and marketing a planned giving program, and strong knowledge of tax laws affecting charitable gift planning.

Some seminar presentation experience, and excellent organizational skills are required.

Professional certifications, MBA or J.D. is preferred, and knowledge of MoneyMaker and Salesforce.com is a plus.
