Waste Management, Inc. helps customers manage and reduce waste, from collection and disposal, to recovering valuable resources and creating clean, renewable energy.

The company has a variety of job openings across north Texas, including Commercial Route Managers, Commercial Drivers, Residential Drivers, Roll Off Drivers, and a Financial Analyst position.

Commercial Route Managers are needed in Ferris and Fort Worth.  The job is a supervisory position responsible for other drivers in the assigned area.  Duties include employee performance reviews and feedback, scheduling time off, employee grievances or complaints, pay changes, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.  An Associate's Degree or the equivalent work experience is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations.

Commercial Drivers are needed in Ferris to operate front-end or rear load trucks to service commercial routes, removing and transporting waste or recyclables for customers.  The position will service approximately 100 to 150 commercial customers per day.  Routes may require drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city and suburban locations.  Commercial Drivers must be at least 21 years old, able to speak and read English well, and have at least 1 year experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.

Residential Drivers are needed in Fort Worth and Lewisville.  This is one of the company's most demanding jobs.  Drivers are responsible for the collection and hand loading of residential waste, as well as transporting the waste by front-load or rear-load truck to a landfill site.  The position routinely requires extensive near-continuous physical exertions such as lifting, pushing, and pulling receptacles that weight 50 to 75 pounds.  Candidates must be at least 21 years old, be able to speak and read English, experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL, and a clean driving record.

Roll Off Drivers are needed in Lewisville.  They are responsible for hauling construction debris from construction sites, and performing duties on container delivery and hauling of industrial roll-off routes.  The position is physically strenuous, and involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck several times a day.  Backing skills are essential.  Candidates must be at least 21 years old, able to speak and read English, experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL, and a clean driving record.

A Financial Analyst is needed in Lewisville.  The position prepares, analyzes and interprets complex financial and non-financial information, and recommends improvement opportunities to local, middle, and senior management.  Workers participate, facilitate, and interpret operating results like budget goals, cost reduction efforts, and corporate initiatives for senior management.  A Bachelor's Degree of equivalent experience in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar area of study is required, as is three to five years experience in the field.  A Master's Degree is preferred.
