The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has an opening for a Part-time Cafe Associate.
The Cafe Associate must be fully competent in selling Museum Store merchandise and Cafe products. Workers will greet and engage visitors in conversation for the purposes of sharing information about merchandise, Museum services, programs, collections, and exhibits.
The Cafe Associate shall assist the Retail Manager, Cafe Supervisor, and Cafe Coordinator in all aspects of the Cafe operation as delegated.
Candidates must be fully competent and operational in completing cafe chores, recipes, and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ideal applicants will have at least six months working in a cafe or similar customer service environment. A current City of Dallas Food Handler's Certificate is required. Cafe Associates must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 25 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required.
