CitySquare is a nonprofit in Dallas aimed at fighting the root causes of poverty by partnering with people in need.
CitySquare is currently recruiting up to 100 AmeriCorps members to serve with Food on the Move to fight hunger in Dallas.
The program deploys mobile teams into low-income apartment communities to offer youth a nutritious lunch and 30-45 minutes of enrichment.
Members serve 30-35 hours a week for 12 weeks, from May 29-August 17. In return for service, members receive a living allowance of $1,800, and an end-of-term education award for $1,175.
