Floater/Substitute Teacher - Head Start of Greater Dallas, Inc.

Friday, September 18, 2009:

Head Start of Greater Dallas, Inc. is an early childhood education program that meets the total needs of a child with a developed curricula and strong research and evaluation program.

Head Start has an opening for a Floater/Substitute Teacher.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and three months prior child care experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities are a plus.

Floating/Substitute Teachers work closely with each other to implement an age-appropriate educational program, organize and maintain the classroom environment, develop portfolios for children, work with parents and volunteers to improve their own parenting skills, and work with other staff members to encourage each child's overall growth and development.
