FRISCO — Fifteen-year-old Wesley likes to have new adventures. So when iFLY in Frisco invited him to go indoor skydiving without having to jump out of a plane, he was in.
"I kept on breathing in and out while I was in there, but the most important thing is that I kept on having my balance straight," he said.
Wesley enjoyed the adrenaline rush and getting to spend time with his brother, Michael. They are best buddies, too.
"Well, he has to be because we're brothers!"
The two boys will not be adopted together, but want to see each other. Having a family is Wesley's greatest desire.
"I've been in foster care for as long as I can remember," he said, adding that he wants discipline... but not overly strict parents.
"I want a family that is nice and one that doesn't really ground you so much," Wesley said.
Life is a lot about give and take, something Wesley keeps close to his heart. He says the family who cares for him today will be the family he cares for in the future.
"I would like do stuff for them when they get old," he said. "I would like bring stuff for them so they won't have to like spend so much."
Wesley needs a family who will be understanding, set boundaries, and help guide him into the future. He is a bright young boy with a lot of potential to go far.
"I would like to be an inventor because I like inventing stuff," he said.
But most of all, he just wants a place to call home.
