D/FW AIRPORT — It's a tradition to lift spirits — volunteers who give American soldiers at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport a hero's send-off.
But as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan wind down, those farewells are becoming more and more seldom. Saturday was one of the last times for those dedicated volunteers to bid adieu to departing troops.
