FORT WORTH — Gay pride was on display in Fort Worth on Saturday morning.

For the first time, the "Ride the Rainbow" Pride Parade marched through the streets of downtown, with Mayor Betsy Price serving as Grand Marshal.

The event was hosted by Tarrant County Pride Days.

For the organization's 30th anniversary, it established Pride Weekend, with a parade, picnic, and first-ever Pride Street Festival in General Worth Square.
