Fort Worth grandma offers comfort to outgoing troops

D/FW Airport — As North Texans prepare to share meals, exchange gifts and wait for Santa Claus to arrive, there are other Americans who are going to war.

This week, thousands of U.S. troops left Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport headed to Iraq and Afghanistan. But Oleta Tredway, a  grandma from Fort Worth, sent them off with a little piece of "home" — a hand-made neck pillow to make them feel a little more comfortable on the long plane ride overseas.
