Chris Hawes
Chris Hawes joined WFAA as a general assignment reporter in July of 2006. She began her career in her hometown of Mobile, Alabama, where she was a reporter at WKRG. From there she went on to report in Michigan, Cincinnati, and Tampa before arriving in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Chris graduated from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and had the unique experience of working as a deputy press secretary on a presidential campaign after college.
Chris enjoys all the Metroplex has to offer, enjoying exploring museums, restaurants, and running on the Katy Trail.
