Bob Greene

Bob Greene is an award winning reporter making his return to the Lone Star State.
He joined WFAA as a general assignments reporter in June of 2006. Prior to joining the channel 8 news team, Bob was a general assignments reporter for WWL-TV in New Orleans.
While there, Bob was part of the only news team to stay on the air continuously during and after hurricane Katrina. Bob's work during Katrina and Rita, along with the work of his colleagues, earned the station a coveted Peabody award.
Before that, Bob reported for KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas. While there, he won a first place Texas Associated Press Award for continuing coverage of flooding in central Texas.
When Bob is not working, he enjoys working out, playing basketball and traveling...especially to the Mayan Riviera!
