One last cool day before MUCH WARMER temps return to North Texas! Sunday will be beautiful with nothing but sunshine for everyone. However, after a cold start, it will still be below normal this afternoon. Highs today will be in the low to mid-60s. Winds will be breezy from the northwest, but not nearly as gusty as yesterday.

Monday morning will start out chilly with lows in the 40s. Thanks to a breezy wind from the south on Monday, afternoon temps will be in the upper 70s to low 80s! Once again with a lot of sunshine. Even warmer temps around on Tuesday with highs in the 80s area-wide. In fact, some western parts of North Texas could hit 90° or above on Tuesday.

A weak front moves through North Texas on Wednesday and will knock down temps, but it won't be a huge cool-down. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will just be near normal instead of above normal.

North Texas stays dry until rain chances return late week into next weekend. On Friday most rain or storm activity looks to be west of North Texas, but can't rule out some late day showers or storms. Better chance for rain or storms comes Friday night and especially during the day on Saturday. Being over 5 days away, there are still plenty of questions about the timing of the system, when are the best chances for storms in North Texas, and severe threat. As always, we'll be watching it and bring you the latest throughout the upcoming week!
