A cold front bringing associated rain should be out of the area by daybreak Sunday. Behind the front, it turns breezy and much cooler!

Showers and embedded thunderstorms overnight were expected to drop around a half inch of rain across north Texas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch that was in effect for the area was allowed to expire.

Even though storms are expected to leave the area by daybreak, lingering rain is possible through noon. It'll turn much cooler behind the front with high temperatures Sunday afternoon struggling to reach 70.
