Parts of McKinney, Celina and Prosper were hammered by large hail Friday night as a cold front spawned severe thunderstorms across the area. All of this activity will be ahead of a cold front that will bring much cooler weather this weekend. Highs on Saturday will only be in the mid to upper 60s with gusty northerly wind. Lows Sunday morning will likely be in the 40s for most. A sunny and pleasant Sunday afternoon can be expected.
