We're done with rain now. Sunny skies and drying out for the end of the week

North Texas is done with the rain for the rest of the week!

DALLAS — North Texas is done with the rain for the rest of the week!

Sunny skies return Thursday as highs reach the upper 70s along with NW winds at 5-10 mph. Clear and comfortable Thursday night as lows dip into the upper 50s.

The Flash Flood Watch has ended, but keep in mind that even after the rain ends, any flooding could linger over the next few days. Be careful while driving, and don’t drive into or through flooded roadways! Turn around, don't drown!

Skies will clear from west to east Thursday with sunshine during the afternoon into the evening. Highs will climb into the upper 70s with a wind that will be breezy at times out of the northwest.

Sunshine then returns in full for Friday into the weekend! Another good looking day on Friday under sunny skies and highs again in the upper 70s.

It'll be a little warmer and breezy on Saturday. Highs climb into the lower 80s with brisk south winds of 10-20 mph. A weak cold front will approach the Red River Saturday night.

Some isolated showers/storms will be possible north of I-20. Otherwise, it's staying dry through Sunday. Lows Saturday night will be near 60° and highs Sunday afternoon near 80°.

Sunday may feature a few more clouds, but looks like a nice end to the weekend as of now.
