Another cold front moved storms across North Texas Wednesday, bringing heavy rains and hail to some areas.

Some hail has already been reported in Red Oak and other areas of Ellis County. Hail and damaging winds were expected to be the main threats.

The tornado risk is low today, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out, especially in areas east of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Storms will move out of the DFW area by early this evening.

As the cold front moves through, strong northwest winds will increase, gusting to near 40 mph. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.
