Our unseasonably warm weather has finally ended!
A cold front moved into North Texas early Monday evening, sweeping across DFW between 9 p.m. and midnight.
A line of showers with isolated storms accompanied the front. Strong north winds ushered in much cooler but seasonal temperatures for Tuesday.
"Winter" is coming! By that we mean the 50s...but it will still be a welcomed sight after such a summer-like start to December! pic.twitter.com/cBHLj56uMX— WFAA-TV Weather (@wfaaweathertoo) December 2, 2017
A few light showers may persist into the early afternoon on Tuesday. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with highs only in the mid 50s and north winds at 15-20 mph.
The rest of the week should be mostly sunny and dry with seasonal temps going into next weekend.
