Police are seeking to identify two suspects who allegedly forced their way into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint Thursday.
According to Fort Worth police, the 26-year-old woman answered a knock at her front door. That's when she was bound, beaten, and sexually assaulted at gunpoint.
It happened on Boca Raton Boulevard in the Woodhaven neighborhood. She told police that two suspects, a man and woman, entered the apartment and starting ransacking her home. They took her debit card and asked for her pin number, saying they would "kill her if it was fake."
While the female suspect went to the ATM, the male suspect sexually assaulted the victim. He stopped when the other suspect came back.
As they left, they threatened to kill the victim if she left her home or called police.
Police say the victim was under the impression the female suspect was in distress and needed help when she opened the door.
The suspects were seen in a light-colored, older model Chevrolet Suburban with paper tags on the rear of the vehicle. Surveillance footage of the female suspect and Suburban can be seen on the Fort Worth Police Department's Twitter and Facebook pages.
The female suspect was seen using the victim's debit card at a gas station.
