An infant died and four people were injured in a crash on Interstate 30 in east Fort Worth on Wednesday morning, officials said.

The wreck happened about 10:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-30 near Bridgewood Drive, according to a police report. A vehicle involved crashed into an embankment.

The baby was taken to Cook Children's Medical Center and was pronounced dead, according to MedStar. The medical examiner has identified her as Nevaeh Brooks, who was born in August of 2017.

No other details were immediately available.
