HURST -- The cause of a fire that destroyed a home in Hurst is under investigation.

Neighbors saw flames coming from the attic and roof of a home on Evergreen Drive and called 911 at about 5 a.m. Thursday.

Fire officials told WFAA that the homeowners are out of town, as their travel trailer was gone.

The fire destroyed the structure. A For Sale sign appeared to be out front, according to WFAA's crew at the scene. No one was injured.

Bedford, Colleyville, and North Richland Hills fire officials assisted the Hurst Fire Department.
